Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council is one of the pioneers for starting Continuing Pharmacy Education courses for the working registered pharmacist.

The council has conducted a number of one day refresher courses to suit the needs of the working pharmacist. |

The course module was developed by some of the eminent faculty members from the academia and professionals from Pharmacy field. |

These courses serve the purpose of Continuing Pharmacy Education and thus help the pharmacist update their knowledge as per the professional requirements. |

These courses were developed as per the directives of the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. The PCI recommends for renewal of registration pharmacist should attend minimum 2 refresher courses of one day duration each in the span of 5 years. This will help the pharmacists to acquire new skills and utilize them for the betterment of public health. |

The Online Refresher course is a certificate refresher course which has been designed for practicing registered pharmacists. The course empowers them to meet the ever increasing demands of the profession.
Maximum duration of the course will be three months. The study material will be provided on enrollment and payment of fees. Candidate has to appear for the examination in person.

Study material will include a full descriptive module covering the above mentioned topics. To supplement the module and facilitate learning power point presentations shall also be provided.

A candidate shall have to appear for the examination in person at the Council’s office or any other designated center |
2. |
The candidate shall have the choice of Examination date available during the period of 3 months. The date can be selected as per the candidates convenience |
3. |
Examination shall be mostly conducted on first and third Saturday’s of each month |
4. |
Duration of examination would be one hour and thirty minutes |
5. |
Examination paper will have Multiple Choice Questions and Case studies with maximum marks 100 |
6. |
The minimum passing marks required are 60. Candidates scoring more than 75% marks are entitled for an additional certificate of excellence |
7. |
In case the candidate does not clear the examination in first attempt, he would have a second chance. However the candidate shall have to appear for the second attempt before the expiration of his account (3 months from the date of activation) |

The course enrollment can be done by sending a Demand Draft of Rs 100 (Rupees. One Hundred Only) in favor of Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council’s - DIC can be sent to: Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council:

Enrollment can also be done in person at the council’s office by making cash payment or by Demand Draft |

The enrollment is non-refundable and non-transferable |

For one enrollment the candidate shall be entitled to two chances of clearing the exam |

In case, the candidate fails in the second attempt then he/she will have to enroll again, if they wish to obtain a certificate |
4. |
All certificates will be directly dispatched to your residence address |
5. |
